Apple considers raising prices for songs

Its reported that by the end of May Apple might be raising prices for its music from the site. The catch is that the songs would be that you can download the songs without the technology to stop unauthorized copying.

The relaxation of rules on digital rights management, as it’s known, would let consumers who buy music on iTunes to play the music on any digital music player — not just the company’s iPods, Nanos and Shuffles.
